Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, at the PAP rally on Apr 27, said that even after 60 plus years, the Opposition do not say “vote me, change”. Instead they say they are only contesting less than a third of the seats. They don’t want the responsibilities of governing. That means they acknowledge that PAP has done a good job.
In response to WP’s claim that PAP’s manifesto is not detailed, SM Lee said that Singaporeans know what the PAP has done, working together with them. “Look around you, you will know what PAP has done”.
SM Lee also stressed that a good government is about having a good team. He urged Singaporeans, especially those in Punggol to support DPM Gan Kim Yong.
On the topic of race and religion, SM Lee called out opposition parties who spoke against foreign interference only after the PAP government took firm action. He urged Singaporeans to vote for the party which truly upholds multiracialism.
